Progress your gliding skills and knowledge! Treat yourself to a week of intensive training and GlideOmarama will provide you with your own personal instructor, a dedicated glider, seminars, lectures and mountain soaring opportunities.

GlideOmarama can help you to progress from solo through A and B Certificate to the QGP (Qualified Glider Pilot Certificate) and beyond into badge flying and glider racing.

In a five day private Post Solo Training course GlideOmarama can cater to any level of experience. Contact GlideOmarama with details of your gliding experience and your aspirations and we will suggest a programme to fit your needs.

Price - NZ$2350 This course is priced for you to be flexible for the amount of towing and the type of glider(s) required.

plus NZ$130 per hour Duo Discus, NZ$90 per hour Grob 103 or $80 per hour single seater
plus tows charged by altitude - (eg a 2,000 ft tow is NZ$85)

The fees are packaged to include:

• personal Instructor for 5 days
• daily briefings, debriefings, seminars and ground school
• Club Membership, maps, visiting pilots guide.
• free wireless internet access, use of club rooms, tea/coffee facilities
• accommodation is not included but can be arranged in Airfield Chalets, Motel, Hotel or caravan.

Refunds and Extras:

• Glider hire charged at the above rates.
• Free glider rental after NZ$2,000 worth of glider rental.
• In the case of bad weather days preventing flying, days in lieu can be arranged.
• Aero tows and possible retrieves are not included - pay only for what you need!
